来自M.E.G.的朋友们，你们好，我是来自U.E.C.的研究员66261，我并没有恶意，入侵M.E.G.数据库也仅仅只是希望让更多人得到赫尔墨斯装置II型的帮助，我理解诸位难以接受上一代赫尔墨斯装置的原材料和运作方式，并且以有色眼镜看待它的后续机型。但是我们可以做出承诺，赫尔墨斯装置II型不含任何有违人道主义的零部件，并且制造相对简单，其保留了在后室各层级之间快速穿梭的能力。

外观描述，原理说明以及使看到该档案的每位流浪者都能学会如何制造该装置。

外观描述：

赫尔墨斯装置II型并没有统一的外观，其取决于制造者使用的材料，所以我在这里只会说明U.E.C.将会统一生产的标准型号装置外观。

整备式：

外观类似半防护式摩托车头盔，其内衬全部由金属制造而成，旨在通电时可以制造稳定电场，为接下来的传送创造理想环境，在该装置的后脑勺位置有三个按钮，为了防止误触，需要以8N以上的力按顺序按动按钮才能启动传送程序。其侧面应印有该装置的生产序列号，一般为四位数字加上两个大写字母，用于指示其生产批次和产地，它的产地应当为U.E.C.任何具有一定工业能力的基地或前哨站。该装置集成的层级密钥和蓄电池均隐藏在装置夹层中，故其表面光滑，同时有一定的防护能力。适合武装组织统一装备使用。

便携式：

外观类似一个无线头戴式耳机，配色为红黑色，不用时可以折叠，折叠后大小类似苹果2，需要传送时需将其充分展开并戴在头上，佩戴方式与正常的头戴式耳机一致，再按下其左侧的带有红黑色猫头鹰3图案的按钮，传送程序将会启动。其层级密钥和蓄电池同样被隐藏在外壳中。具有良好的隐蔽性和便携性，适合流浪者等非战斗人员使用。

以上两种型号的装置均已向U.E.C.各据点管理者申请投产，预计在1个月后可以产出第一批装置投入市场，其将会面向全后室所有组织发售。

原理说明：

该装置与原赫尔墨斯装置原理类似，我尊重 The M.E.G.对赫尔墨斯装置的信息管制，故不会过多透露赫尔墨斯装置原型的制作方法。
赫尔墨斯装置II型的核心部件是一把层级密钥，它的源层级可以是任意一个层级，赫尔墨斯装置II型仅需要利用其作为特殊物品的特性，已知层级密钥会根据其当前所处层级距离源层级的层级数量进行特定频率的振动，经研究表明，如果可以破解这些振动频率所传达的信息，就可以通过这些信息来确认距离，但是破解这种信息所需的计算量极为庞大，常见的计算机根本无法完成这种级别的任务，幸运的是，每个人都拥有能够破解这种复杂密码的道具————

你的大脑

没错，赫尔墨斯装置的传送原理的核心之一就在于大脑，当电流携带着这些复杂的密码通过一个人类大脑，大脑会自动解析该密码，并迅速以此确认切出路径，由于其消耗的算力过强，大脑会中断对色觉信号的处理，体现为使用者暂时性的失明。
接下来是最关键的部分，使用者需要想象传送后将要来到的地方，最好是具体层级的场景，如果在紧急情况下或者不清楚目标层级场景时，可以只想象“我要去往下/上一层级”或“我要去往Level XXX层级”亦或是“我要前往x个层级以外的层级”之类的简单指令，赫尔墨斯装置II型仍会带你和你的物品穿梭前往指定层级，不过所需时间会变长，并且可能会对大脑造成一定程度的损伤。

副作用：

在传送完成后，使用者的身上会发生类似Level C-72的“除颤”效应，表现为暂时性的失明，严重的头痛，肌肉痉挛，心率上升，持续时间在30秒到15分钟不等，取决于使用者体质。“除颤”效应会严重影响使用者的行动，所以建议使用者只使用赫尔墨斯装置II型进入相对安全的层级。另外，连续多次的使用赫尔墨斯装置II型会导致大脑发生不可逆损伤，原因保密。

你需要：

一块蓄电池（电压在200V-300V之间）
一个由金属制成的可以包裹部分头部的框架（非必要部件，安装后可提升传送成功概率）
一把层级密钥（不完整的也可以使用，紧急情况可以直接把你的LPS层级定位系统用作材料，不过请注意，这么做制造的装置只能把你送到一个相邻的层级）
两个AED电极片（可用铜片或铝箔代替）

2.把蓄电池正负极连接到AED电极片，使用时将其贴在太阳穴处。
3.启动开关，想象你在层级中自由穿梭，传送程序将会自动启动。
