Level 0是后室的第一层，也是许多人所遭遇的第一层。

描述：

Level 0是一处非线性空间，通常情形下的外观类似于春节期间售卖年货或是爆竹等物件的商铺。与它此前被确认的形式截然相反，Level 0中的所有房间都在外观上有或多或少的差异，有些甚至和先前的所有记录都有极大出入，甚至出现了摆放有电视机的实例，值得注意的桌上置有手机或者平板电脑的房间也被记录在案。

上述所有电子产品终端要么处于断电状态，要么在播放春节联欢晚会或者类似于春节联欢晚会的节目，未知这些类似节目是由未知手段生成，还是于本文档各编撰者切入后室之后在现实中播放，但查明其娱乐性与前厅2010至2020年代的春节联欢晚会接近。

在Level 0中，线性空间发生了相当大的变化；以至于可能顺着直线行走却返回起点，而沿着你的足迹折返将会导致一组新的、不同的房间替代已经通过的房间出现。然而，鉴于各个房间有显著的不同，尽管指南针和GPS定位器等设备无法在本层中正常运行且无线电通信则会变得失真且不可靠，对该层级的基本定位还是相当容易的。

在Level 0中，很容易能够见到各种实体以及其他从外部或各层级切入的流浪者。这些实体一般是友善的，尽管个别实体展现出了一定的攻击性，但确信是由于其活动方式及交际理念同一般人类相异的缘故。倘若能够凑齐4人及以上由流浪者和（或）实体组成的小队，则很有希望在接下来的探索中遇见派对房间。它们通常呈现为由华丽红黄二色饰成的家庭餐厅，在其中可以找到装有杏仁水、皇家口粮、龙肉罐头和流浪者前腿1等饮食的餐柜。独行的流浪者，尽管概率相对低些，但也能遇见正在进行派对的房间，并可以申请加入进去。

Level 0因其友好安定的环境而享誉后室，人员普遍报告在该层士气有所提升，患有心理疾病或精神状态不佳的流浪者表现出情绪和心态的明显改善。该层仍有一些难以解释的现象，似可归于幻觉，但又不能据已知实例下定论，故列于此处作为参考：

  • 遇到在前厅的家人和（或）密友，并和其一起参与派对，事后无法寻找到上述人员。
  • 遇到在前厅时关系不睦的熟人，并同其和好，事后无法寻找到上述人员。
  • 和遇到的流浪者、实体或是上述不能确定是否真实存在的人员一起包饺子或“元宝”2等传统美食的记忆，事后无法确认真实性。
  • 接受无面灵等实体递来的红包，并发现各种小礼物、写有鼓励话语的便条等内容物的记忆，事后无法确认这些红包及内容物的位置和存在性。

根据化验分析，Level 0内的O₂水平正在以稳定速率上升。这一现象代表的意义尚不明确，正在验证上述“幻觉”是否同醉氧有关，但由于样本数有限进展不大。

实体：

如上文所述，Level 0中存在大量友善实体。部分实例令人惊奇地从通常的有害状态转变为Level 0中友善、可交流的状态，这一现象有时被称为“Level 0效应”。观察到诸如派对客的出现，但似乎它们真的只是想办个很棒的派对。这里没有=）表情。真的没有。不是你别不信真没有。

入口和出口：

入口：

  • 是多数人进入后室遭遇的第一个层级。
  • 通过部分层级出现的样式传统且喜庆的“门”进入，如右图所示。

出口：

  • 通过切出Noclipping可以离开本层。
  • 从上述的门原路返回可以退回进来的层级。由于层级是非线性的，有时会遭遇这样的门，通过它们离开本层也是可行的。
