Level C-704是后室C层群的第704层。

描述

Level C-704是由一系列房间组成的室内空间层级，组成本层级的房间在装修风格和部陈设上类似医院的各类功能性房间，房间与房间通过各种金属门、玻璃移门或自动门相互联系，之间并无任何走廊相连。层级中的任何物品或建筑结构都无法被破坏；这导致了流浪者无法将一部分无法打开的门通过破坏的方式前往其后的空间。

一间病房，放置了一些机器和家具

本层级之中的房间多数为放有数座病床的病房，床与床之间以蓝色窗帘作分割，有时会出现一些放有食物的二层小木柜、医疗器械或是其他家具。另一些房间则为手术室、问诊室之类的医疗用途房间，此类房间中的医疗机械都因未通电而无法使用，各类显示器则会显示意义不明的图片；这类房间中有相当多的药品和工具可供使用，然而至今仍无流浪者将它们带走。无论哪个房间，它们都以白色的涂料粉饰未知材料的墙面，而地面则是涂成深蓝或同样白色的瓷砖材料制成，这包括了理应用金属材料带成的CT室。

在Level C-704中时刻弥漫着消毒水的气味，空气中同样有消毒成分，但令人注意的是：空气里检测不到任何微生物，而人为释放微生物的尝试最终也以失败告终，这一异常现象在近期才证实为层级危险现象的一部分。

效应

同黄室类似的，本层级同时存在非欧几里得空间性质与孤立效应，即：本层级的空间是非线性的，这导致流浪者很容易迷失方向，进入层级的人群一但相互分离便无法找到对方。此外，本层的孤立效应还有特殊之处，这与下文的特殊效应有关:

在本层级被发现时，有一种可以迅速杀死生物的效应未被探明:只要流浪者在层级内停留超5分钟就会立即死亡，切出层级的尸体经尸检后证实死者并未遭受外伤，而是被某种未知力量抽走了全身血液和一部分骨架导致死亡，尸体神情皆未表现出恐惧和狰狞，故基本排除实体袭击的可能。

针对此，E.P.B.开展了数次调查行动，投放了如无面灵之类的实体进入层级，在前几次的调查中，进入层级的实体均在5分钟之后死亡，生命检测系统表现为无预兆的心跳骤停和生命体征消失，摄像头同样没有拍摄到任何异常。使用物品(如迁越浆果)在5分钟内切出的生物并没有任何损伤。

直到2024年2月的实验中，E.P.B.人员投放了一只电仔，5分钟之后电仔的生命体征并未消失，此后投放的其它无机物实体亦是如此。在此基础上，研究人员投放了用绳索连在一起的无机物实体，在5分钟之后，绳索直接消失，两只实体互相消失在了对方的摄像机视野之内。

由此；E.P.B.得出了结论：层级的特殊效应本质是更极端的孤立效应，它将人类体内的一部分细胞(如红细胞等)判定为活物从而使其“孤立”，效应发生需等待5分钟，这解释了上文所述的空气无微生物现象。故进入本层级的流浪者应立即切出，具体的出入口详见下文。

本层级不存在基地，前哨或社区。

入口和出口

入：流浪者可在无限医院的5F进入一扇被涂蓝的CT室自动金属门，或通过在不安都等存在大量功能性建筑的城市层级的医院中进入类似的自动门或其他门。

出：目前为数不多的离开方法包括切入窗帘以进入帘室，或切入灯中以来到熄灯间，长时间盯着地面可能会让周围的环境自然变化为一处灰色的泳池房，其他的离开方式只能依靠物品。
