难自禁是Level C-697的子层级。

描述：难自禁的门径为一扇半坍损的樟木门，出现在父层级70层以上的区域，附着墙体不固定。在400米以内，流浪者就能闻见自门径扩散，极新鲜的血液味，足以穿透父层级内的层层瘴气。

走廊

检查木门，门锁已脱落，锈蚀严重的铁链和门框本身黏在一起。门后的走廊多直角转弯和重复过道，有溴水从两侧较低的墙壁不断渗出，地板被大滩染成棕红色。也许是因为发生多种化学反应¹和腐蚀了某些有机质，液滩表面漂浮着不断叠合的茶色、黄褐色斑块，以及一些发泡的无规则组织团块。

垃圾箱、废弃机器和通风隔板杂乱地摆放在走廊两侧，表面多有油污和锈蚀斑。在某些过道，隐约可见墙角有人类肢体的轮廓。走进能看清，是挤压的尸体从墙壁下隙溢出，油脂扩散在溴水表面，体表无尸斑也无臭味。

若是墙壁破损，溢出的尸体可能露出更多身体部位并阻碍过道，这些尸体的共同特征是：

• 腹腔中空
• 背脊严重扭曲
• 裸体，躯体严重变形
• 眼，鼻，耳切除，有粗糙切割痕迹
• 下颌骨至胸骨柄的组织切除，切口相对光滑
• 骨骼按空间结构生长，有断裂后再愈合痕迹

尸体间缝隙极小，躯体相互紧贴或肢体嵌合在一起，难以用人力分离。M.E.G.展开过尸体的身份辨认工作，成效不一。

深入难自禁，走廊拐角的旋转幅度将逐渐变大，溴水不再沿着墙壁下流，而是悬留在表面，据流浪者描述“不像走廊，而像某些肠道或者肉质管道”。从子层级深处回授的图片看，壁面已经无法辨别混凝土墙体了，而是被层层叠叠的尸体取而代之，尸墙变成支撑子层级的唯一结构。

伴随层级深入，走廊两侧的机器也会发生变化，机器整体下沉，金属板沿着焊接线撑裂，边缘卷曲或断裂。内部的轴承，齿轮以及其余原件满溢到机器外部并嵌入尸墙，内部本身被尸体充塞。其细节是，金属原件嵌入尸体的方式似乎并非单纯的挤压，而是有一定规律，小型的零件会填充伤口或外露的孔洞（例如原本的眼鼻口），支撑型的弹簧，轴杆则会“取代”原本的骨骼。电线大多延伸入腹腔内部，呈树根状向四周辐射，在循环系统的路线上聚集成股。

实体：难自禁本身未发现实体，甚至任何能观察到的生命体，这与父层级的生态形成完全对立。但是，这两者可能存在密切联系。

在和父层级过渡的区域，E.B.A.在地板液滩沉积层中发现了微生物残骸，金属锈蚀上亦然。但是它们都未进行繁殖，显微镜中发现不了任何处于分裂期或者出芽状态的个体。在和父层级类似的实验中，E.B.A.同样进行家蝇孵化实验，但是这次结果为孵化后的幼虫全部死于饥饿。

墙壁里的尸体，也可以视为完全的死体，并非某些社区阴谋论里的拟态实体，但有着许多疑点。在M.E.G.事故2024-3-1-c697中，受委托流浪者将一具尸体拖出子层级时，尸体局部开始肿胀蠕动，20分钟后数条蠕虫钻出尸体并向厂房逃窜。事后流浪者本人解释称自己“因过度恶心而不小心吐到了尸体上”，而他一直患有绦虫病。

切口：在子层级内部，切出有可能到达Level C-594、Level C-fish等较安全的层级。

和废弃机器上的启动装置互动（比如拉拉杆、敲击按钮），极有可能切入父层级的厂房。

附录1：回收的录音带

该录音带回收于子层级的某个拐角。回收时表面沾满溴水，并部分陷入地板。在录音带附件没有发现外溢的尸体。

录音者推测为在2022年失踪的小队队长，Kona。回收时间为2024年4月28日。

在近期的探索中，连续从子层级内回收到5具当年小队成员的尸体，通过已经和肩部皮肤融为一体的M.E.G.金属标志和个人牌照成功辨认。

附录2：NOWDAYS

近期，流浪者陆陆续续在Level C-697的高层发现了一种黄色的卵囊。卵囊直径在30厘米左右，椭圆形，表现出极大的弹性和耐挤压性。刺破后为半透明粘液。

粘液中不含成型DNA，主要溶质为多肽和无机盐。暂不知卵囊是否为新实体演化的产物或是某些东西的后代。

卵囊多在子层级入口附近发现。目前未发现有实体取食这些卵囊。

在Level C-fish，疑云港这类有转运水产品功能的层级中。当地流浪者报告了多起鱼类异常腐烂和失窃案件。据事件集中于2024年5月前后，与M.E.G.回收录像带的时间高度重合，不排除这之间有一定联系。更何况Level C-fish本身就疑点颇多。

在“海鲜市场”基地的监控画面中，捕捉到29日12：00直12：23之间，一条疑似四足的类爬行动物徘徊于水柜之间。其颈部较长，有类似鳃裂的痕迹，眼对生于头部两侧。

在捕捉镜头最后，该实体直立起来，面向监控，随后画面黑屏，4分钟重启。实体已消失。
