Level C-691是后室C层群的第691层，气候适宜且干燥，无极端环境情景。

描述：Level C-691是一室外空间，外观特征类似于城市基层绿化结构——茂盛的藤科植物和墙。墙体为淡黄色混凝土构造，形态多为竖直且嵌入类似桥墩的柱状体，不知内部结构。一般墙面高为7米，不同墙面间夹角均大于100°。墙壁上常附着图中所示的铝丝网，其结构难以支撑人体抓握。在墙壁基处和顶端发现灰紫色污渍，类似于雨后的水痕，但是Level C-691从未下雨，水系统亦无和墙壁有交互。

墙体一般横向延伸形成迂回的迷宫，可能造成互相穿透的情况，或是形成死路。然而Level C-691的地面总是表现为一致的倾斜特点，这使得翻过墙壁进入另一高度地面在该层级并不困难。在地面上可以发现一些城市公园的场景，例如被植物覆盖的自行车，破损的电话亭，雨伞架1和公园长椅等，其上都贴上一种模式类似的传单，内容是一些和植物，方向相关的无意义meme。

地下区域：在Level C-691一些较低的位置，直接往下切入可以到达地下区域，其类似于地铁通道，结构表现出一直的延伸性，地面呈曲线起伏，无任何向下深入的扶梯结构。地板为矩阵分布，且被水平斜线切割，墙壁上有着受潮的迹象，管道经过分析，均为铝合金。

在地下区域，偶尔可以发现于墙壁的舷窗，内部景观类似于Level C-300中窗外的城市废墟，但根据大部分流浪者描述此景观更为干燥，且无法发现任何的植被，不排除为同一场景的不同区域的可能。所有对此结构切出或者破坏的尝试都失败了。一些简易避难棚的结构也被发现于地下区域，里面总是发现植物的枯萎根系，但是细节难以辨认。

对比下来，地下区域可能更适合流浪者生存，因为其空气中含很多水分，也可以在避难棚中发现常见求生物资，即使部分略老化。要离开地下区域，只需要往任意墙面向上切出，可来到地上的随机区域。

按理来说，Level C-691的地面面积会随着高度升高而减少，地下结构也难以支撑地上结构重量。但处于其间的流浪者均未察觉到这一点，这可能是因为该层级过于庞大而稀释了这一概念，或是非线性在不断根据流浪者位置重构层级结构。定位系统在Level C-691的完全失灵和地下区域的奇怪舷窗结构也许可以论证后者。

植被与实体：Level C-691的植物自成系统，生态位的竞争在该层级并不常见。爬墙虎和常青藤在Level C-691占据主位，并进化出更坚固，更轻巧的根和茎，同时将光合作用运用到了最大化，表现为叶片扩大且更为翠绿，这使得Level C-691的自然景观也常被流浪者称赞。但是Level C-691中空气中缺乏水分，暂不清楚该层植物是如何生长的如此茂盛且健康的，而且在许多植物的根部附近都能发现污渍。匪夷所思的是，Level C-691可收集到不少落叶，但是Level C-691内未发现落叶木。

实体在Level C-691中表现被动，尸鼠和无足鸟在管道废墟中筑巢，成为生态系统的一员。肢团也担当了捕食者的身份，菜单似乎以上述实体为主。它们也极少出没。

目前，在地下区域目击到一些无面灵干尸，它们都处于极端干燥的状态。此外，所有个体体表被贴上了上述提到的传单。在检查中，发现许多个体的腹腔被撑裂，类似于被折叠形机械结构拉伸所伤。

基地，社区和前哨：M.E.G.在Level C-691建立起一小型基地，名为“位上藤”。其研究该层级的植物和收集铝丝资源。他们靠近该层级一稳定双向入口。

出入口：有一种进入Level C-691的方式被流浪者广泛作为技巧，具体为在任意层级内寻找藤类植物并自缚，若在此情况入睡，即可来到Level C-691。

Level C-629中一洞穴可来到Level C-691。

Level C-84内存在一被藤类植物覆盖的公园长椅，坐下即来到Level C-691。

Level C-12中有一条小径通向Level C-691，为上文所述的双向入口。

从地下区域切出，可能会来到Level C-N4。

使用电话亭里的电话，若听见滴滴滴的响声，稍等片刻即可来到Level C-179。

切入一面极少出现的石膏墙会来到Level 369。

折下一朵该层级自然生长的木槿花，亲吻其花朵会来到Level C-792。

在一处月台样的平台向远处眺望，期间若听见火车鸣笛，闭上眼将会来到Level C-990。

取下少量灰紫色污渍，加入饮用水中，喝下极小概率会来到Level C-7。

在地下区域打开折叠伞会引发未知事件。所有实验者均失踪，可能为切入未知层级。
