Level 5，或称其最广为人知的名字旅馆，是后室 11 个层级中的第 6 层。

布局

顾名思义，Level 5 模仿了二十世纪二十年代末期至三十年代初期某时的老旅馆的设计，由蜿蜒的走廊与房间组成。该层级的艺术风格可用豪华形容，其墙壁覆盖有桃花心木红色及金色的华丽壁纸，柔软的地板上铺有刚清洗过的花纹地毯。房间内装饰有多种赤红色及金色细饰的椅子，并有着无数其它装饰品。这些装饰品包括有盆装植物、华丽的画框、填满无法阅读的书籍的书架、吊装枝形吊灯以及立式灯具。

在层级内可以找到电梯井，这些电梯井的装饰风格从现代样式到古时的铜缆牵引系统样式都有出现。在此些电梯内可以找到标有 1 层至 382 层的一连串按钮。试图搭乘电梯前往一层至十二层将通向 Level 5 的另一个区域。试图搭乘电梯前往高于十二层的楼层将通向未知的地点，因为所有试图前往此些楼层的人员全都未曾返回。截至该页面创建之时，目前仍然不推荐尝试前往任何高于 12 层的楼层。

与后室中的其它层级不同，Level 5 的整个层级内都极为干净。层级内所有的表面以及家具部件都是一尘不染的。当层级内出现污垢后，其将神秘地在数分钟后消失，就像是层级正在使用未知方法清洁其自身一样。虽然有许多假设认为层级的整洁会使其感觉上变得更加舒适，但现实而言，这只会愈增其空虚与分离的感觉。这即是一种对你正处于，或是某天终将处于孤独之中的提醒。

在近期，Level 5 已开始变得声名狼藉，因其在走廊处或墙壁内可听见回响起的怪声。这些怪声包括有远处的派对交谈声、寂静的私语声、以及在木头上抓挠啃咬的声音。不仅如此，还有人近期声称在穿过走廊时有被监视的感觉。似乎是有什么东西在其后方潜伏着、向其脖子上吐息，或是拍拍其肩膀之后消失不见。

贝弗莉室是 Level 5 内的一个独特房间，许多人认为该房间某种程度上类似该层级的中心。

该房间面积上特别小，总面积仅有 400 平方英尺。该房间内装饰有数套桌椅，每一套上都带有一个独特的残局桌游。在北墙中央有一个巨大的开放式壁炉，持续性地释放出扩散至整个房间的热量。

房间的墙面覆盖有一个由门组成的阵列，每一扇门都通往 Level 5 走廊内的一个单独区域，但有两扇特定的门除外。这两扇门上分别镶有写着 “175” 与“储藏间”的华丽名牌，都通往层级内被称为“锅炉房”的一片单独区域。

锅炉房是一连串紧凑幽闭的维护隧道，其内堆满了老式机械。这些机械堆砌在墙边，有时甚至堆在过道的路径上，通常包含有多个可动部件，包括齿轮、活塞或是旋转臂。机器相连有许多管道，这些管道也沿着走廊的墙面与天花板延伸，将似乎是杏仁水的东西运输至整个层级之中。

走廊内的温度总是极高，这是机器所使用的过剩能量导致的。许多墙面与地板都持续覆盖有薄薄一层杏仁水，这是自众多机器中排放出的蒸汽冷凝成液态导致的。在穿越这样的区域时，最重要的就是要小心迈步，防止失去平衡或撞击到尖锐表面。

生存指导

虽然 Level 5 表面上很安全，但是随时保持警戒也是非常重要的，因为该层级安全的表象将使得人们特别容易受到荒芜的影响。因此很容易忘记该层级并未处于通常现实内。

在穿越 Level 5 时，要特别小心猎犬的存在，猎犬可能会在走廊处潜伏着。当你在走廊上游荡时，随时保证自己携带有充足的杏仁水，并且拿走所有你能找到的东西。如果你需要帮助，试着找到通往最近的楼梯间的道路，并且前往位于 Level 4 的 M.E.G. 基地。
